Louise has built a 28 year career at Marks & Spencer, progressing from a trainee manager in stores to an influential transformation leader. Starting on the shop floor, Louise worked her way through the organisation, building a broad and diverse career spanning retail store management, regional leadership, property and transformation programmes.
Now Head of Transformation, Programmes and Property for Convenience and Hospitality, Louise is responsible for delivering space growth, estate transformation and multiple transformation programmes. She previously played a pivotal role in the rollout of the Simply Food brand and is currently shaping the future of Convenience and Hospitality through new formats and renewal.
Known for her ability to manage multiple complex projects while maintaining a sharp focus on delivery, Louise is a positive, inclusive leader recognised for building and developing high‑performing teams. She brings deep retail expertise and a passion for customers to everything she does, and continues her commitment to supporting women and girls through her voluntary role as a school governor at a leading girls’ school.
