Mariette Kristenson is a dynamic executive within the Reitan Group, with more than 20 years of leadership experience in the retail industry. Known for consistently driving sustainable growth, spearheading digital transformation, and fostering a strong, values-based leadership culture. Celebrated for advancing bold sustainability initiatives and for building high-performing teams that deliver meaningful and lasting impact.
Currently serving as CEO of Reitan Convenience A/S and EVP in Reitan Retail. She has held key roles across Sweden and Norway, including three years as CEO of Reitan Convenience Sweden, six years as CEO of Reitan Convenience Norway and five-years as Marketing Director for Reitan Convenience Sweden.
Since 2021, Mariette has led the overarching Reitan Convenience A/S, overseeing a network of 1,700 stores and 13,000 employees across the Nordics and Baltics. Her leadership has been pivotal in driving sustainable growth, digital innovation, and customer-centric strategies across brands such as 7-Eleven, Pressbyrån, Narvesen, R-kioski, and Caffeine. Recognized as Sweden’s Marketing Director of the Year earlier in her career, she has continuously demonstrated a results-driven approach and a strong commitment to value-based leadership.
Mariette holds an Executive MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics and a master’s degree in economics from Lund University. Her extensive experience and deep understanding of the REITAN system uniquely position her to lead the company in a dynamic and evolving retail landscape.
